“Glad I’m back too. It was interesting. We went to their place of worship, then had a hunt for multicolored chicken eggs that we dyed ourselves. It was fun. Then they had a big dinner and prayed to their religious icon.”
Raini laughed. “They do such things? How odd. Why would anyone color eggs and hide them just to and find them again? Why hunt them? They won’t move, will they?”
“I guess that’s just what humans do!” Blair said, shrugging. “But the family was so pleasant. I made friends with the daughter, and we hold correspondence.”

Blair was walking out into the front of the school, having just come back from visiting his family for their “Easter Break” by seeing how it was spent by people that actually celebrated it, with a human host family. During this break, he made friends with their daughter, and…
Blair was looking around, for more inspiration of what to write, when he saw Raini. He smiled and walked over to her. “Oh, my dear, what beauty is this I see sitting before me in all her radience and glory, which not even the shining shimmer of the water’s surface cannot wash away, for her beauty stays even when the sun’s rays settle down to rest…” He sang these words, trying out the first song he ever wrote himself, previously a poem, to her.
Raini turned around and chuckled but listened without stopping him. “What a nice song. I think singing might actually really be your…destiny.” She smiled and patted the spot next to her. “Where have you been these past few weeks?”
“My family and I went to see what Easter was like for humans.” Blair took a seat next to her. “So we had a host family come ‘adopt’ us for two weeks. It was pretty fun.”
“Oh, so what is human easter like? I have never celebrated easter and before I attended this school, I didn’t even know what Christmas was.” She chuckled and looked at him. “Glad you’re back.”

Rp with blair or robyn anyone?
“Then yes, of course we can tell them.” Blair said. “Your parents sound wonderful. If only my parents were as accepting of other species.”
“I am sure your parents are amazing as well. I mean my parents want to check every guy I am with and yours want to make sure the girl of your dreams happens to a little water loving.”
“Well my mum’s alright, but my father… he’s a pretty strict guy. He hated the idea of me singing at first, saying it was nowhere near manly, but he kind of just ignored it… he wanted me to run for king of the Mermish kingdom once I got old enough, but leadership isn’t really my thing.”
She chuckled. “I don’t think leaderships is the main thing. You need to love the people and live for them.” She smiled. “I am sure you’d have been a great king!”
“Thank you.” Blair said, smiling happily. “In the Elven kingdom… do you have a monarchy as well?”
“Sort of. It’s a little more complicated than that. There is of course the king and the queen and their children and of course everyone who is in someway part of the monarchy but we also have the elder elves. There are eight of them. And they are like even with the king and queen.”
“Ahh, yes, the wisest hold the most power with you all, I see…” Blair observed. “They serve a big part with your species, because they know much, and usually people go to them for advice.”
“And they do the whole family business. They keep track of the elf families and they do the weddings and everything else. The King and Queen actually just deal with the diplomacy stuff and such.”
“I see.” Blair said. “Are weddings arranged there?”
